Specializes in the history of ballet and dance theater; teaches at the Department of Theatre Studies, Charles University, Prague the history of ballet and dance theater; participates in the faculty project Culture and Totality; in collaboration with the National Film Archive and the Film Studies Department of Charles University, Prague; works on the project National and Cultural Identity (Phenomenon of Laterna Magica); co-operates with the Ballet Ensemble of National Theatre, Prague (author of program texts); cooperates with the Czech printed periodical Dance Zone.
